Plans

All those days we would go and talk about
Dreams that we ought to be chasing out
We would spend all those sleepless nights
In the warmth of your bedroom lights

As we go on through the days
Work and life seem to get in the way
When all we want seems simple and clear
We keep running until they disappear

All these plans I want with you
Though you may never know the truth
All these plans I want with you
Wishing you would come on through

You have gone and flown away
Changing airplanes; seizing the day
Looking back at our show, I sit here alone
Too late to tell you feelings had grown

The days we had were all that I held dear
And though we never made that clear
You'll come back and see a different me
Braver than the girl you've once seen

Because I still want all these plans with you
Waiting 'til you come back to see the truth
I still want all these plans with you
Wondering if you're thinking the same thing too

Very nice but seems like you are holding on to your past? It may be healthier to move on and then write about your journey
