Planets In Love

You be Venus and I Mars,
Should we ever meet?

Within passionate quivers
On earths free abode;

To see chaos and destruction,
As we shift our tracks,

Or just watch in our deep love,
With extreme desire;

Let you always follow me?
To our mutual joy,

As moments in raptures,
Like the river banks,

In orbit never to meet,
Annihilation:

Dance to the music of life,
In infinite glee:
