I had no muse for a month came back to be told of a bloke plagiarizing poems - he'd been banned by soup back in 2014 when he posted over 200 stolen poems and was back once more doing the same thing. shame some folk seem to think his actions are acceptable and I am the bad guy for writing about it:-( hugs jan xx

Sorry to hear your work has been plagiarized. In one sense it's a compliment, in another it's an admission that someone can't write as well as you, Jan. It's never happened to me in all the tears I've been posting my work on the Soup. Glad to hear the person has been removed from the site. Keep writing. I've seen some of my worked posted on 'all poetry' - once I proved it was copyrighted on soup it was removed speedily. No this time the creep was posting work by John Hollander and claiming he wrote it in 2 hours but now he has been removed by soup for the second time in about 4 years - last time he posted over 200 'stolen poems !:-( hugs Jan xx

I doubt the original writer of one poem (now deceased) would have been happy to see said poet claim he wrote one of the poem in 2 hours'... the poem was actually written in the 60's. It's a shame folk have to stoop so low to win contests and get support:-( Had a great Christmas - best present of all - my son home for 3 weeks:-) hugs Jan xx

I was’t aware this was happening again. I don’t get what people get out of it. Especially when they have a fake name. There was a fellow from India on another site that was stealing my poems. I forget his name.

Do you remember a few years back we found a bloke and his 'wife' posting over 200 stolen poems - well he was back doing the same thing with shape poems - now he is no longer on the site. I hope he has learned his lesson but somehow I doubt it:-( hugs Jan xx
