Places

Poet: Ken Jordan
Poem: Places
Edited by: Sparkle Jordan

There are
many places
I've seen
in my
lifetime -

Places,
 I 'd like
to see again -

Places,
in the
 mountains,

where
my spirit
soars higher
than the
clouds -

Places,
in a sailboat
on the ocean,

where
the wind
sails me
out to sea -

Places,
along
the shore,

where little
sandpipers,
run free -

I've been
to many
places,

I want to
see again -

Places
like,

Bodega Bay,
Venice Beach,
and
Jenner,
"By The Sea"-

I'd like to
go back
to the
farmlands,

were
Red Angus
cattle
graze on
corn -

I'd like
to see
the windmills
of
Birds Landing,
as they
turn -

There are
many places
I've seen
in my lifetime,

I'd like
to see
again -
