Placebo - Lend Me Your Mind

You think sugarcoated pill

and, nah, you can't fool me

Imagine, not that there is no

sky above us - but - travel

at the speed of conversation

you talk about walking to the shop

and - there you are.

Imagine, a second and third heaven

purer and purer as you move

through the layers 

Imagine, angels, beautiful

sounds beyond comprehension

Imagine, moving

at the speed of thought

now here is a novel idea

you think mars and

you're there, not eating one

but on the planet.

 

Now
