Pit To Palace

Even after d death of Rachel
His son who is her Jewel
Though thrown in the well,
but since with God all is well
Especially for those in him they dwell

Joseph was sold
to the city of old
lies they told
Jacob was cold
He knows Joseph is gold
but lo and behold
as his destiny unfolds
Despite Potiphar's hold

He was taken to prison
For no cogent reason
That soon turned a lesson
suddenly his hope turned arisen
Sure he became a blessing.

The foreign land was not a barrier
With God d coast is clear
Challenges may be here n there

From the pit he moved to palace
That is the work of grace
on God he fixed his gaze
And blessings flow over his race

Though they say by identity
That you are a nonentity
Definitely that is a falsity
I know you are a celebrity
Because you serve a God that is Almighty.

This poem made me miss my early days of Sunday School! Great lessons in compelling words. Good job!
