Pit Dream
comrades watch the video
then laugh,
at what we all yearn to become
rumors spread
that our time is yet to pass
there's one stumbling block
and a river to cross
to prove ourselves worthy
of the prize
and brave at heart
months have gone by
not knowing when will this hustle end
as a panther nurtures her young
so do i hold on to this dream
in the pit
and nurture it.
