Pioneer Eating Party

There’s no gossip or sex when you’re cold and starving. We did our best; we were bold Christian gentlemen, the ladies from good moral families. It was only natural to eat the youngest girl first, she should not suffer our hunger pangs at her tender age. We did not draw lots like heathens, but when Seth went quietly insane we ate his brain - now we are all crazy as wolves biting the falling snow. Of course, Jeramiah had to go, it was agreed by all, except Jeramiah, but no one liked him anyway.
