Andrea, your words sings and paint pink everywhere. I'm here to explain why you came in second place which is easy to explain. ( someone questioned my judgment, this is SKAT by the way. I did the honors in closing this for my sister while she enjoyed her birthday vacation ) Anyways, I'm all about imagery. While reading this poem, I felt as if I was in a Pink World, a world supporting the cause of awareness. Congratulations from me to you. SKAT

If they would quit putting hormones in our meat and dairy there would be a lot less cases of breast cancer. My sister in law died of it two years ago and she wasn't that old. I like the idea of making everyone aware with the pink ribbons Andrea!

Creative way to write about the pink cancer ribbon. Did you know that each cancer has a color? So many different cancers for so many colors.

Andrea I am with you, I have to admit though, I am getting some pretty strange looks! Hugs!!!!

So many can relate to this poem with poignancy Andrea. I lost my sister in law a few years ago from breast cancer. Sadly she didn't live long enough to see her first grandchild. Your repeating lines in this triolet give impact to the importance of your words.
