Pink Sky Across Winter Morn

Pink sun’s misty secrets of winter’s morning delight
Parade confidently onto lovely riverbank at first light.
Seductive feelings of hopefulness and awe gently kiss
The frozen snakes on the water with a gentle February hiss

A pinkish glow in the heavenly new sky to the south
Gives the sun an ethereal feeling, at this river mouth
Frosty tree branches, heavy under the burden of snow
Feel a tad optimistic as the sun shows them her inner glow.

The silence surrounding God’s elegance, in this winter scene.
Not a single footstep on this gorgeous snow, so pristine.
Reverence and awe envelop this darling sky in so many ways.
The sun begins gently melting the beauty, her heart full of haze.

What do you think the deer asks her mate, wondering where to go.
She does not want to mess up the beauty of this newly fallen snow.
Let’s take a look around her mate says, we do not want to mess up anything.
This river and snow bank bring so much joy and light to the forest, it sings!
