Pink Rose

The break of day,
A breath of air . . .
Beauty is more,
Than eyes can bear.

Life renewed --
Each breath we take,
Brings new light,
To the beauty of day.

Each petal unfurls,
Yet revealing another.
Gift from nature --
Secretly hidden under.

What compares,
To nature's gift?
Reveals her secrets,
Each day that passes.

Moment by moment,
View of life.
Prevails no matter,
What the plight.

Taking each breath,
Repeating this beauty --
Like slow motion revealing,
Life's unfurling journey.

Capturing our hearts,
The petal unfurling,
Exposing beauty,
Only she beholds.

Like the rose,
Capture their hearts,
Expose your beauty within,
For the world to behold.

the rose is always such a sweet metaphor for many things. I sure enjoyed this poem and meeting someone I believe is new to me here. HOpe to see more of you and poems like this one!
