Pink Joy

PINK JOY

A beautiful baby came into the world.
On her head a pink cap for a girl.

She was born a blonde with a little curl.
As she grew her hair was the color of a pearl.

My loving grandaughter Ashley was my first.
She's finally here and my heart almost burst.

I couldn't love her any more.
My love for her fills me to the core.

                She's loving,generous,kind and smart.
                        Ashley has a beautiful heart.
                                     Teresa Skyles

Congratulations, Teresa! I'm so happy for you, grandma. LOL What a delightful poem for sweet little Ashley. Save it and read it to her when she's old enough to understand. Love and many blessings, Carolyn
