Pink Hyacinths

Pink hyacinths scent the room bulbs planted indoors at Thanksgiving find their way to the surface. They rise lanky and tall green shoots followed by clusters, deep green tinged rosy pink opening with warmth of sun glow thru the window. The sun fades behind gray snow filled clouds but the hyacinths bloom anyway tall and stretching up to the light. In between fading poinsettia leaves bold red and white florets set a background of colorful display. The scent rises embracing the room and a whiff of spring aroma hangs in the air perfuming a fragrance sweet and enticing.
