Pillar

I'm her pillar and I'm her post
One she's willing to lean on most
The untamed Lion before her king
An unamed diamond upon her ring ...
So if she fails to take a stand
Its up to me to take her hand
Unsuspecting of just how weak
But projecting the strength she seeks ...
From the one thing that she will have
Before the tear drops and after laughs
Upon a column below her feet
Her place of solemn and ectasy...
That when she lays across my back
I know she prays upon the fact
I'll be the man she really needs
That god had planned with her to be...
Until our death does us apart
Or what is left within my heart
Can still remain so obviously
Until she gains her strength from me...
