Pillar Destined for the darkness, as tears no longer fall. I pray that I remember, your face after you fall. Fight me, beat me, break me, I beg you, do your worst As I sit here still while typing, I can’t help but feeling cursed. I felt you on that highway, over-burdened and alone My soul screamed out in silence, but you had never known Like a pillar I am standing, while forced to watch you crawl We fought in this together, but only you have paid the toll. The lives that you watched vanish, Right before your eyes.
