Pigeon

There’s a pigeon on the rooftop And he’s driving me insane For his constant pigeon noises Seem to permeate my brain From his perch upon the chimney He’s coo cooing to his mate It just thunders through the building And it comes out in the grate The noise is quite incessant And no matter where I sit I still hear this damned bird calling It annoys me, quite a bit How I wish he’d find another house To broadcast to his lover Why does he have to use my roof Why can’t he find another ã John W Fenn 26-03-2009

Love this one slightly humorous but probably not if you are actually having to listen to the bird constantly. Reminds me of a poem by Robert Frost about shooing a bird away from his door. Can't remember the title though. Keep writing. Sara
