Pierogies Kielbasa and Sauerkraut

An Easter basket blessings of butter and bread,
  hard boiled decorated eggs for Easter hunt spreads.
Pierogies, Kielbasa and Sauerkraut.
 delectable prepared, is what Polish folks are about.

Spring time flowers, tulips, hyacinths and daffodills
  staggered here and there between the green grassed hills.
Czas Wielkanocy - a wish for the Easter Holidays
  set down to kneel, thank God and pray,

z calego serca - with all my heart
  I wish you a wonderful start
to the spring so long awaited
  and the Easter celebration elated.

Jan Allison April 8, 2018 at 11:55 AM Your wonderful lines took me back to my childhood when my uncle used to boil and colour eggs - he was Lithuanian and it seems they have similar traditions with the food - my dad used to make sauerkraut in a beer keg but I'd only eat the commercial one in a jar lol:-) hugs jan xx
