Piece Missing

There is no chance
At all.
Our fate is moving
Towards our life
To betray and to forgive,
As if our journey is one way.
And yet there are many,
Thinking they could
Live on forever
With one single soul
And one single face,
Passing their smile or their tears
To a world that fades.
In this ship we gathered
And we are many,
Trying to find another soul
That fills the hole in ours,
Like the puzzle we were trying to make
When we were kids,
But there was always a piece
Missing in the box.
