Picnic Lunch
walking along a narrow dirt path, while the weeping willows hang above.
Talking to a friend who has been by your side for many years.
our favorite spot lies on the out skirts of the woods.
We have been coming here since we were kids.
We have cried here,
we have found love here.
we have been one with our animal friends,
like the deer standing over there.
We do not bother him,
he does not mind us watching him.
The birds that share our lunch every so often
are friends of ours as well.
While together we eat.
The leaves on the trees display a magnificent color,
It is like an all inclusive getaway,
to a far away land.
Our favorite spot for a picnic lunch is
at the top of the waterfalls on a nice fall day.
