Sara, A profound, philosophical work tinged with regret which can however be rectified in my view with a sense of purpose and positivity. Lovely kimo, Howard

Howard, I have tried to play a little, but I just can't get it. LOL..Some people have a gift, talent or some people are able to be little more coordinated or more ambidextrous than others. I'm just very right-handed. Sara K

I can really relate to your Kimo, Sara: I took lessons for 2 years, moved away from my teacher. Now if I want to play one of the songs that I knew well, I have to relearn it. Practice is the key. SuZ

Putting in the time and effort is the only way to truly perfect a skill. You may have been a really talented pianist just like poetry.

Yes, Lasaad, it takes studying and practice. I think one does better if it is started when they are young but adults can learn as well. As we age, joints become less flexible which hinders it more. Thanks for the nice review of my work. Sara

I too wished to learn the piano, but was not allowed.

Victor, I don't think you are too old to learn. Go for it. Sara

She would have become a great pianist ! Practice makes things perfect. But the inherent taste matters too ! Good one Sara.

Valsa, it is possible and it is possible that I just did not have it in me. Thanks for having that hope for something that did not happen. I appreciate the kind review. Sara

I know exactly that feeling. You set me back in when my parents bought me one but I could care less about it back then. Now I wonder! Great one, Sarah :)

Fin, you could always try again from an online course. You probably would find out that you could learn it fairly easy in your adulthood. Your visit was encouraging. Sara

I am sure that is true. Thanks for dropping by. It is good that God knows us and what our choices will be and how to use what we choose to work for our good. Sara

At times I wonder myself, what would I be if I still played the saxophone. Great one Sara :)

I believe that you are still young enough to take it back up again. So go for it. Thanks for the visit. Sara

This poem could apply to just about anything, Mrs Sara. I'm sure most people think at one time or another, what if? A pleasure to read you today.

Daniel, Yes, most people have a regret or two, wonder what life would have been if they made a different choice, etc. Mostly, I don't do that. I always think I can only go forward, it doesn't do any good to live in the past, etc. Your visit has added so much to my thinking. Sara

This is lovely, Sara. Sadly, all I can play is a hymn or two! You express the longing. Elizabeth
