Photo Album of Memories

A shelf stuffed with memories
Long forgotten and dusty
Pictures neatly tucked inside
Names no longer remembered
Faces of past generations
The young care not to know
Sheltered from the ravages of time
Unremembered protected images
Lives that no longer exist
Slipped inside a photo album
Where the old never die
And the young never grow old
Smiles frozen on unnamed people
Sitting on a shelf stuffed with memories
