Phone Full of Girls Numbers

I've got a phone full of girls numbers, but I'm missing you
None of these girls will know how my scars feel
I'm just using them to keep me company until my heart heals
I've got a phone full of girls numbers, but I'm missing you

Leaving the club drunk, with a beautiful girl on my arm
Gave her a smile, and fed her a little of my charm
That was enough to get her to leave with me
Whatever happens between us will happen secretly

Because I don't want you to find out that I'm seeing other girls
Even though we want different things, and you're no longer in my world
I still have hope one day we'll reconcile and I don't want it to seem like I don't care
These girls mean nothing to me, they're just helping me to repair

Do you have a new man?, Are you crying alone or doing the same as me?
Actually I don't want to know
Because that would be holding on when I need to let go
I'm using these girls as umbrellas while it rains on me

I know I'm not acting right and what I'm doing is wrong
But we all have different ways of moving on
We gave it our all, but we just came up short
I'm using these girls as a cushion, because I can't be alone with my thoughts

I've got a phone full of girls numbers, but I'm missing you
None of these girls will know how my scars feel
I'm just using them to keep me company until my heart heals
I've got a phone full of girls numbers, but I'm missing you

I am becoming a fan for yours. The way you talk about heartbreak is raw and open. Lovely piece. Hope your your strength to move on in a much healthier way increase and will love to see how that affect your writing. Great piece and thanks so much for sharing
