Phoenix Heart

My heart feels fragile, my mind a raging storm,
The winds of doubt and fear, buffet me, and I am formed.
But in this darkness, I find strength, a glimmer, a light,
A beacon in the tempest, that helps me take flight.

I have been tested, and I have been torn,
I have risen from the ashes, like a phoenix, reborn.
But the storm within still rages, it's like a beast that's unleashed,
And my heart feels like it'll break from the burden it's possessed.

But I won't give up, I won't give in,
I'll face that storm with courage that won't bend.
For I know that I'm strong, and I can't be torn,
I'll rise above the storm, and soar like a phoenix born.

Even in the darkest hour,
I'll find the light within, that helps me remember,
That the storm will pass, it can't last,
And the phoenix in my heart will rise again.

It's in the face of adversity, that we discover our true selves,
It's in the darkest night, that we find the strength we didn't know we possessed. So let the storm rage on, I won't back down,
For I am a warrior, my spirit can't be drowned.

With every storm, I've grown stronger still,
For I know that in the end, I will rise and triumph I will.
For I am a phoenix, with a heart that's true,
And in the storm, I'll find the strength I need to see me through.
