Phoenix
ashes nestling its claws
caressing the cyclical nature of rejuvenation
the legendary bird takes refuge from the past
as novel adventures beckon their beaks
flight takes a journey from the crest
lights all chakras
compounds interdependence
and freedom from suffering
soon sorrows and pain
fade into impermanent history
and a necessary foundation for growth
leads the return from the abyss
one wing flap at a time
if you believe in magical blessings
the future will be bright and full of merriment
it only takes a little bit of faith in the Universe
to overcome the shadows of Self
on the path to new life
