Phoenix

Fall if you must... But always rise again... Be like the phoenix.

Phoenix
By Michelle Morris

When your
World is set
On fire,
Let it burn,
Let it burn...

Like a
Funeral pyre,
Nothing left but
Ash and desire.

From the
Ashes
You can
Rise again -
A phoenix
With wings
Reaching
To heaven.

A powerful
Mystical
Creature -
Born anew and
Free;
To go forth
Transformed;
To continue
Burning
Eternally.
