Philautia
It was you that said "til death do us apart."
Now I wished I've never started.
That you never had to suffer
such memories of a crushed soul.
To that lord who aline the stars,
I pray to you that I will never
have to see these experiences again.
That you will protect me
no matter what path I cross.
Life shouldn't take what once was sweet.
I'm sorry my choices did that to you.
I promise too that I'll take care of you.
My past, please forget the memories of
a broken home, a broken dream.
Find solitude in yourself, my love.
You're what has matter the most to me.
Myself, see that light past the tunnel.
Know that I'll always be here for you.
So please, believe in me.
