Phenomenal Leader

She came from the belly of the poor
She struggled for the rights of the people
A strong black woman
She gave the inner-city youths the hope to become what ever they wanted to be
The mother of our nation, we all called her Sister P
She gave her life for politics and the rise of the Jamaican economy
When you talk about a phenomenal woman you speak of the great Portia Simpson Miller
She never looked down on anyone unless she was picking them up because she understood love and humility
No matter what the colour of your flag orange or green we all loved her
She's not afraid to tell you her mind that's what great leaders do
She's the first woman Prime Minister
She made all women proud
She's a political icon
Stand tall my phenomenal leader, Portia Simpson Miller
You made your contribution to the land we love Jamaica
It's the end of an era we thank you for a life well spent serving your country, Jamaica
