Phases of the Moon

It seems that the moon gets the most attention when its full, big and round
No one seems to really care when all the other moon phases come around

As for me, I could never choose a phase and say that one is the best of all
I mean all the phases have their own beauty no matter how big or small

Waning is when the moon shrinks up and the illumination gets slight
Then we have what is called a New Moon and its nowhere in sight

Then the waxing phase kicks in and it keeps getting bigger every night.
The quarter moons are thrown in there, their illumination is 50 percent bright

So, I hope the next time you find yourself outside as the sun starts to go dim
You are just outside admiring the moon whether its big and round or slim.
