Phantom Images

To me, ghosts can't be spirits of the dead, though something weird seems to be occurring. I believe that our eyes can be misled; so phantom images keep recurring. A departed soul would not hang about after leaving a body that's now dead. It'd intuitively figure things out; and thus spiritually move ahead. Ghosts are oft seen, engaged in some routine, as if trapped in a repetitive act. Neither alive nor dead, but in between; a presumption we've accepted as fact. If ghosts are spirits, why do they wear clothes; I'm to believe clothes have souls, I suppose?
