Petting Time

I am a dog, a pup no longer
I huff and puff
just a push-over lover;
fuzzy and floppy
my soul a place for muddy paws
and sniffy tingles.
Your feline purrs
have groomed my hairs
and your belly rubs
are the best.
You wag me.
