Petful Thinking
I never had my childhood dream come real,
Nor later I’ve experienced such bond.
Having a pet, I missed that special feel,
Of it, I’m sure, I’d be so very fond.
How would it be if a real pet I had?
Cherished so, tenderly loved and cared for!
And as much as I’d need that furry bud,
I’d like to think that it would need me more.
