Pete

Pete

The family dog is a yin yang
Two faced in black and white

Lives his life on a log chain
Likes to play with his bite

Pearly, ivory, toothy fangs
Partial faced in the moonlight

His Pyrenean bark is like a big bang
His bark is worse than his bite

I have a neighbour with such a dog. Quite the barker but sweet to the touch. I have added you as a fav poet today. I hope that is okay with you?
