PETALS OF THE PHILIPPINES

Like a hibiscus in full bloom
With vibrant hues of crimson, pink, and gold
So is the rich culture the Philippines hold
A tapestry of colors that brightly loom.

Each petal, as delicate as a butterfly's wing
In the hearts of Filipinos, love takes flight
Their embrace is a beautiful song to sing
Casting warm shadows like a lover's light.

The Philippines is a flower, tender and fair
A hibiscus blooming with grace and flair
With petals as soft as a baby's ear
It blooms with beauty throughout the year.
