Petals of Pain

sat alone last night
the world was moving all around me,
but it seemed my life was in a standstill
the doctor said its anxiety disorder
but it is deeper than that
I am a prisoner of your love

I sat long in the night again today
I wondered life without you
and it brought pain to my heart

the pain seemed to run through me
freezing me dead like a stonewall
I heard someone say, 'Be brave and move on'
but I wonder if I can move on
when I am a prisoner of your love
