Pests

Bugs, bugs that go thump in the nights
bugs, bugs do they give you a frights?
Bugs, bugs, you'll need some bats,
unless the so called bugs are rats.

Rats, rats, those nasty little things
rats, rats diseases they brings.
Rats, rats, you'll need some cats,
but those cats will hide in your hats.

Cats, cats, those cute little things
cats, cats loving and purrs they brings.
Cats, cats they can't hide in the hats
that have been eaten by the rats.

Fleas, fleas those blood thirsty thieves,
fleas, fleas they ignore our pleas,
blood they drink from the rats, and cats,
they bug in the furs, and bug in the hats.

I smiled broadly reading this Miranda. Like Andrea said, just like Seuss!

Dr. Seuss wasn't exactly on my mind when I wrote this, but now that you said that I get it. I did try to write something a child could understand.

Thank you. Dr. Seuss was not exactly who I had in mind when I wrote this, but now that you have said it, yeah it is kind of. I was trying to write for kids.

I like cats (most of them) and they scare away some of the pest, or eat them for lunch. Thank you!
