Pesky Sun

Oh you pesky sun
don't shine on me no more
let me wallow im my darkness
hide me from your warmth
I've tried to hide beneath my
covers
and have pulled my covers
tight
still there always seems to be
your rays that creep left and
right
Let me run icy cold, let my
pulse go sleep
let me writhe in agonizing
dreams
darkness hides the madness in
it I will lay
perhaps in this cloak of
shadows
I can finally forget your face

Many a day I have been awakened by pesky sun...when my mind would rather rest. This poem and the other I read could be labeled as FreeVerse which will be read quicker than the label I don't know as form. You have talent, look forward to reading more from you.
