Notes About The Poem

Perspective

Looking up ...
"I said KILL him!"
He yelled from the cool wet of the pool,
Giving the final deadly order to his hit men ...
He'd had enough of the man's treachery and mistakes.
"And make it last - I wanna hear the screams from here!!"
His goons nodded and left quietly, leaving him to his pleasures.
He swam to the edge of the large kidney-shaped pool,
Holding one hand high above the shimmering aqua surface ...
Slowly transferring a bee from his hand to the patio,
He made sure it was in the sun to dry -
That it would fly AWAY from the water ...
"There ya go, little fella,"
He said, smiling ...
Quite proud.
