Personal Quest
Here’s my constant personal quest
To do what's best midst trying test
Praying always to reach the crest
Begging God's help to prevail
Resting on Him when I fail...
My heart keeps on by divine grace
Triumphantly running life's race
Or patiently taking slow pace
Along stewardship terrain
Toward faith's partnership gain...
My soul strives for jubilant aim
Vibrant in sharing kindness-flame
Radiant while smiting gloom's shame
Glowing with hope despite woe
Conquering angst and sorrow...
Faith now soars for reaching-out height
Trusting the Lord Who shows blest light
Directed from selfishness-blight
Freed by rhythm of love's deed
Helping joyfully indeed...
Here am I with my gracious vow
So yielded as mercies allow
Knowing not every why and how
Since the Almighty does care
He reigns over my welfare...
Everything is well.
