So nice to read a poem of yours today Leonora! We used to eat persimmons all the time in California, but they don't grow here and I rarely see them at the store. We have starfruit here that not only looks beautiful when cut and arranged on a plate, but it is delicious. I never knew they existed before I came to Hawaii in 1980.
