Perseverance

Blind fool.
You think me naïve, vulnerable, and weak;
So bound by fear that without you I would be nothing.
You mock my loyalty, shun my faith;
So certain that were it not for you, my chains would still bind me.
Ignorant.

Enlightened soul.
I am strong because I see beyond imperfections;
So confident that a heart guided by love will steer me true.
I impart my loyalty by choice, not need;
So inclined to defy any odds set before me, and remain true to my core.
Survivor.
