Perplexities of Life
Things happen we don’t understand
We try to escape from it all
In the midst we look hard for peace
We give it our all not to fall

Situations are hard to bear
Through it all we must take a stand
So we call on our friends for prayer

It’s so difficult to explain
Others tell you to “let it go”
So why do we even complain
We give it our all not to fall
Holding on with of our might
Moving forward we persevere
Hoping to make it through the night
