Perhaps An Angels Was Sent

Saying to her bestfriend that she never felt so lost
Not knowing if she could mend her life just tossed
There was nothing at all left but this one silver cross
This was life biggest theft for it was all a total loss

He seen those deep welling tears his heart so heavy
Realizing all those fears he never thought he'd see
There standing side by side, devastation everywhere
Well she just cried in being more than she can bare

After standing there a while reality slowly sinking in
Looking through a big pile and all hope wearing thin
A glimmer catching her eye as they both began to dig
At the bottom a Cross would lie it being about ya big

He looked up at her and immediately a meeting of eyes
For them it just seemed to occur in making them realize
Together, they found that Cross realizing what it meant
Both lucky to still be around perhaps an Angel was sent
