Perhaps
The day you walked away
i felt lost in the most unusual way
part of my mind shut down that day
and now i don't know what to say
maybe you never left me
just the life you didn't want to see
but how could I not be
the person I was when there was we
perhaps you are still here
there are times i swear you are still so near
but you slipped away into yester-year
I just wished things were more clear
