Perfection

Moonbeams dance across the water,
the night air hints of jasmine;
soft grass lightens our steps
as swans sing a love song.
Your hand folded in mine...
never knowing where one stops
and the other begins;
a light breeze gently sweeps
your hair to the side.
My mind races with loving thoughts
as I turn to study your beautiful face;
reflected light flickers in your eyes
like a thousand fires around us.
Your beauty stuns me,
your warmth comforts me,
your lips invite me -
the sweet taste of you...
the perfect night,
the perfect kiss,
the perfect you.
