Perfection

I remember sitting by myself one day
Once again wishing for love
Hoping the clouds would roll away
And reveal starry heaven above

I knew I would find it eventually
That my search would one day be complete
But I didn’t search intentionally
Didn’t come to the race to compete

But now I have found what I waited for
Perfection fell into my lap
Luckily I opened that glowing door
Went on when I almost fell back

And maybe it will be continuous
And I can give my vow to Sancus
