Perfect Symmetry

A house
with perfect
symmetry

Lodged
behind a willow
tree

Seeing all
that goes
around

Firmly dug
into the
ground

People have
not lived
in it

Silent
watching as
it sits

Holding
many memories

Keeping
perfect symmetry

Consider changing holding to Anticipating. No one has lived in the house so it currently has nothing to hold. I like the imagery it makes me think of the house people dreamed of in the 50-60s with manicured yard and a white picket fence. The house will attempt to maintain the future Chaos within it's perfect symmetry. This has the structure to warrant a sequel.

Ah, Rick, you pick another one of the "old guard" my friend. Ha, I was riding the city bus home from school when I passed this house I use to see everyday. For so reason on that day I decided to write on it -right there on the bus. Crazy! A sequel huh, yeah maybe. I'll throw around some ideas! Thanks Again Rick! MC
