Correct our vision in the roaring twenties or maybe go blind forever
Perfect Sight
By Franklin Price

The year is twenty-twenty
Symbolizing perfect sight
Time we got corrective lenses
On the left and on the right
Two eyes looking forward
Coming from a different face
Must select the right prescription
Focus on a common place
Each eye is viewing differently
That's very plain to me
Little depth in their perception
Of the scene that they both see
Ben Franklin made bifocals
To see both near and far
He was a founding father
As such, he was a star
Should make use of his invention
To help guide us on our way
To see a common goal the same
Not as blurry as today
