Perfect Imperfection

I’m perfectly imperfect, And to busy for the tears. Losing my best friend, Has had me twisted up for years. · I’m perfectly imperfect, On my life’s winding road. Finding the grace of God, Helped me to lighten the load. · I’m perfectly imperfect, The way God made me to be. Through Him, I’ve untwisted myself, And massage my soul with poetry. · I’m perfectly imperfect, Set free by my Divine connection. Through Him, I help you, With my perfect imperfection. _______________________ Written for Michael Jordan's 'Lets Get Untwisted' Contest

Wow, I like this one as I can relate. It is hard to get by in this often all too cruel world without faith isn't it? Nice write my friend. Congratulations on your success in the contest. Smiles from Lolita

delightful! I'm perfectly twisted... I wonder if I missed that contest of Michael's??! ;) 'God' is one of the sexiest, funniest, most delightfully obnoxious characters I've met over the past two years. Dang straight perfectly imperfect and we are indeed, created in the image of! lol! "for the love of god...." !Yes! always! Great poem my friend. :)

Feeling God's presence helps many people "untwist" their lives, Raul. "Perfect imperfection" is a great oxymoron. None of us can ever hope to be perfect, but with God's love we learn to live with our imperfections. Great poem, Raul! Love, Carolyn
