Perfect Gift

Perfect Gift

I couldn’t sleep at night so I went out
Stars’ glowings make my heart rejoice
Without disturbance from any artificial light
The moonlight tenderly shines, I found solace

Sitting down on a chair, I found a little peace
The sound of waves like a chorus of stars
Repeated for millions of years never to cease
How amazing! No sounds are the same in my ears

The night is lit by the moon and stars
It’s perfect for me to enjoy sitting alone
Thinking about your wisdom and power
It’s sad you are not recognised by everyone

Your impartiality and generosity are obvious through the star filled night
I feel ashamed, how much blood has been shed under this perfect gift
