Peregrine Falcon

Watching you atop your tower for once wishing not to be you but to be the dove on which you prey to so honourably have you take my pain away I turned to set this thought to paper when I looked back you were gone and I sank so sad to still be there.

Very powerful. To be the dove. Seems suicidal. But I do love to watch this bird.

...my painting of that falcon is featured on the cover of Darren White's book of poetry, "Intrinsic Brightness", for him, my falcon transformed itself into a raven.

Thank you Jeff. I was a little left for dead back when this was written. I love all birds, but the falcons have a perfection about them. Hope you are well, read you soon. xomo

Ty Piroet. I can still remember that moment completely, the place, the air, the feeling, completely. xomo

See Mark Bolan with Steve Peregrine Took. Very few people will look at the 2 together.
